Now that your retail data is stored in Infodepth, the sales values, sales
quantities and transaction volumes etc., can easily be analysed by any of the
attributes that have been taken from your operational systems. One of these
would undoubtedly be branch grade or category. By finding the average for each
grade, Infodepth can effortlessly show which of your branches are underperforming
and which are exceeding their peers' performance.
Once detected, this information can be assessed and distinguish which product
areas are underperforming in those branches. In addition, because Infodepth has
the ability to hold many years' worth of data, it is easy to determine whether
it is a trend, or an irregularity in performance.
